Background of the study
Inclusive education ensures that all students, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities, have access to quality education. Educational technology plays a pivotal role in making this a reality, as it provides diverse learning tools and resources that cater to students with different needs (Afolabi & Olatunji, 2023). In the context of secondary schools in Ilorin South, Kwara State, the integration of educational technology in classrooms is rapidly expanding. Technologies such as assistive devices, digital learning platforms, and personalized learning software are now being utilized to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities, learning challenges, and those who require differentiated learning approaches.

Educational technology not only enhances learning for students with special needs but also offers teachers innovative methods for delivering content and assessing student progress. Despite the benefits, there are challenges, including inadequate infrastructure, lack of teacher training, and limited resources. This study will examine the role of educational technology in promoting inclusive education in secondary schools in Ilorin South, analyzing how technology is used to support students with diverse learning needs and its impact on their educational outcomes.
